Ginger Tea

- Ginger root

- 3 garlic cloves

- 1 large lemon

- 2 cups hot water

- 2 cups honey

- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

The amount of ginger is up to you.  I add a lot, like the size of my palm, for medicinal value and for lots of spice!  Peel and grate the ginger into shavings.  Smash the garlic cloves to reap the juices.  Peel and dice them into small chunks.  Mmmm.!  Throw those into a container and add 1 cup hot water.  Let sit as you squeeze the entire lemon into the mix.  Next, add the honey.  Lastly, add the cayenne pepper (more if you like it spicey, less if you don’t) and stir.

This makes for a very potent yummy syrup that can remedy ailments - fatigue, colds, headaches, nausea, as well as, boosts your immune system!  I like to drink it as is, or pour a fraction into a cup to dillute with hot water and honey for tea.  If you don’t like the bits and chunks, sift them out.  Enjoy :)
